Trinity Sunday

Trinity Sunday is the first Sunday after Pentecost, when we celebrate the doctrine of the Trinity (the three in one nature of God): God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Season of Pentecost

Fifty days after the Easter Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples of Christ, giving birth to the Christian Church. Pentecost is the birthday of the Christian church; the season that follows is of the church living out the mission of Jesus Christ, furthering his ministry into all the world. The season continues until Christ the King Sunday, which is celebrated the Sunday before Advent.
