Consecrating Stewards Sunday
We will be consecrating our gifts and the hands that give them this morning during worship, and we will be celebrating in a free fellowship meal after worship. So that we have a sufficient quantity of food, if you are planning to share in the meal, please RSVP with the church office by Sunday, November 1, 2026, and please let us know if you have any food allergies, sensitivities, or other diet restrictions.
Our theme this year is, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21).
Season of Pentecost
Fifty days after the Easter Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples of Christ, giving birth to the Christian Church. Pentecost is the birthday of the Christian church; the season that follows is of the church living out the mission of Jesus Christ, furthering his ministry into all the world. The season continues until Christ the King Sunday, which is celebrated the Sunday before Advent.
