Harvest Home

On the last Sunday of September we share in the annual celebration of Harvest Home, where we receive a special collection of non-perishable food items for our local Hamburg Food Pantry to help fight hunger in our area.

Season of Pentecost

Fifty days after the Easter Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit came upon the disciples of Christ, giving birth to the Christian Church. Pentecost is the birthday of the Christian church; the season that follows is of the church living out the mission of Jesus Christ, furthering his ministry into all the world. The season continues until Christ the King Sunday, which is celebrated the Sunday before Advent.
