Baptism of Christ

On the First Sunday after Epiphany we celebrate the Baptism of Christ.

Season of Epiphany

Epiphany is the season of the manifestation of God incarnate to the world.
In Greek “phan” is “shine” or “manifest,” and “epi” is “upon.” The season of Epiphany continues from January 6 until Ash Wednesday; Epiphany is the season between Christmas and Lent.
