Ascension Sunday

Forty days after the Easter Resurrection, Jesus ascended into heaven, on what we now call “Ascension Day.” We will be celebrating the Ascension on the 7th Sunday of Easter. As part of that celebration we will be learning about the meaning and symbolism of the Paschal Christ Candle (the tall white candle), and why during the six Sundays of Easter it is located by the Altar, extinguished during worship on the seventh Sunday, and after the Easter Season located by the Baptismal Font.

Sunday Morning Overview

This morning at 9:00AM will be celebrating the end of our regular Sunday school year. Regular Sunday school classes will resume on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 9:00AM.

Starting next week, Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 9:00AM on Sunday mornings we will have a “Summer of Song” themed summer Sunday school activity..

Sunday School / Bible Study classes for youth and adults is from 9:00-10:00AM on a Sunday morning.
